U-S-A, U-S-A, U-S-A!
Happy 4th of July! (7月4日)

Once again, I turn the time over to my good friend, Alanis Morissette:
The U-S-A chant might be the best thing ever created. I think even if I weren't from the US, every Olympics, I would look forward to some sweet U-S-A chant action.

Frank's Red Hot
One kitchen keystone I miss from back home that I miss here in Japan is Frank's Red Hot.
I love this stuff, and I'm not alone. This is like, the defining sauce for Buffalo Wings and overall a fantastic sauce to put on almost anything. It's hot enough while not being INSANE; it's more about flavor than spice, which is great.
But if I want it around these parts, it seems I have to order online and pay huge amounts of shipping costs. I'll splurge for it some day, but for now? It's gotta wait. I'll flavor my food with tears....

Steelers to the Super Bowl
My hometown Football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, will play in the Super Bowl again!
僕の古里のアメリカンフットボールチーム (Pittsburgh Steelers) は、またスーパボールにいきます。
The Super Bowl is the final game in the NFL, the biggest and most famous American Football league in the world.
スーパボールは, NFLのさいごのゲームです。 NFLは世界の一番ゆうめなアメリカン フットボール リーグです。
This morning, they defeated the New York Jets.
けさ、New York Jetsを破っていました。

アメリカから36時間でした。
2時間: アメリカの家から空港まで (くるまで)。
2時間: 空港で、待っていました。
2時間:飛行機でピッツバーグからシカゴまで。
4時間: 空港で、待っていました。
12時30分:飛行機シカゴから東京まで。
1時30分:東京なりた から、東京駅まで。
3時間: 東京駅で、待っていました。寒かったです。
バスはキャンセル ！ 雪がありました。
新しい けいかく いります！
どうしましょうか？
あと2時間、しんかんせんで大阪に行きました (も2時30分)。
30分: 電車で、大阪から神戸に行た。
3時30分:ジャンボフェリーで、高松に帰りた！
30分: バスで、高松ちっこ駅に行た。
30分: 待...
20分:家まであるいて行きました。
休みはヤッパリ楽しかったですけど...

感謝祭の七面鳥
アメリカで、先週木曜日は「感謝祭」でした。英語で、「Thanksgiving」と言ます。
私たちの家に、日本人の友達20人いました。いっぱい。
In America, "Kanshasai" or "Thanksgiving" was last Thursday. We had 20 Japanese friends at our house.
アメリカで、みんな 七面鳥を食べます。インタネットで、 七面鳥を買た！ 日本人の友達は、
七面鳥の食べたのときがない！ ヘー？ まじで？ ぼくたちには、信じられない。
IN America, everyone eats turkey. On the internet, we bought a turkey here in Japan! Our Japanese friends never had turkey! WHAT!? To us, that's unbelievable.
長くかかりました。でも、遂に、みんな七面鳥を食べた。やはり、おいしかった
です。友達たちは、おもちかえり七面鳥した。
It took a long time, but finally, everyone ate some turkey. As expected, it was delicious. Our friends took some turkey home with them.
ディナー 中、みんな、 自分の「ありがたいもの」と言うた。
In the middle of dinner, everyone said what they were thankful for.
心は暖かったです。
Our hearts were warm. :)
すばらしい。
