Well, the Penguins, Coyotes, Sabres, and even the Canadiens are gone.
The matchups are:
Detroit vs San Jose
Vancouver vs. Nashville

Boston vs. Philadelphia
Washington vs. Tampa Bay

The games so far have been pretty exciting. The Nashville-Vancouver series is especially interesting. What's kinda sad is that these Eastern teams are kinda weak compared to the ones in the West. Boston's lame powerplay, Philly's goaltending carousel, Washington's inexperience and Tampa Bay being Tampa Bay...yeah, I don't see an Eastern team taking the cup this year.

  

Well, we had a good run. I thought they'd pull it off once they went up 3-2 in the series but no, they couldn't close Philly out in either of their two chances.
Final score of game #7:
Buffalo: 2
Phildelphia: 5

I'd love to cheer for the Flyers because hey, you gotta love Danny Briere...but he's on a team with huge douchebags like Hartnell, Richards, Carcillo, and Pronger. Sorry Philly, whoever you play next, you deserve to go down hard.

I'm so excited! Go Penguins! Go Sabres! Go Coyotes or anyone that plays against either Detroit or Philly because really, screw those guys! :D  

The Buffalo Sabres are making a push for the 2011 NHL playoffs.

Today, they beat Minnesota in overtime! One step closer! Now, they are in 8th place. The top 8 teams make the playoffs. I hope they can hold on! Good luck, Buffalo!

This Saturday and Sunday, in Takamatsu's Miki-town, there is an ice hockey tournament! Kagawa's team is VERY GOOD, so please come! Ice hockey is very interesting . I played ice hockey in university. Next year, I want to play for Kagawa. I'll do my best!
