やった！ せんせん週、僕の附属 坂出 中学生 は 坂出市 の スピーチ大会に行き
ました。 3番だった！ おめでとう、白山ちゃん :)
The week before last, a student of mine from Fuzoku Junior High School went to a speech contest and took 3rd place. Congratulations, Ms. Shirayama! :)

フォニクスのゲーム

We are excited! ^_^
We just bought some new phonics games for 2-Way English.
We will use them to strengthen students' reading skills. They will level up.
この英語のゲームで、生徒たちはレベルアップ出来ますよ。読める。

12まで! 出来ますよ！
Eikaiwa kids can usually count to 10, but after that? They ususally forget 11 and 12.
英会話の子どもは、いつも英語の10まで、大丈夫だね。でも、そのあと、11と12わ
からん。
Here's a video that helps count to 12! In America, everyone knows this song.
アメリカでは、みんなこの歌をしとる。
American adults always remember this song from their childhood. :)
アメリカ人の大人は、いつもこれを覚える。

雲のむこう、約束の場所
With an adult class, we have been watching, The Place Promised in Our Early Days. (『雲のむこう、約束の場所』)
We watch in a mix of English and Japanese.
英語と日本語で見ます。
We started in January. Every week, we watch a little bit more.
１月にはじまりました。 毎週、もう少し見ます。
We [PAUSE] many times, and say "OK, what did he say?"
or "What is she doing?" and "What happened?" and "Okay, now, this is not in Japanese..." and things like that.
いつも面白い。生徒はこのレッスン大好き。
Other schools don't use this type of lesson. They can't.
ほかのスクールはこんなのレッスン出来ない。

上手になりました！
この生徒は、いろいろ英会話先生たちにあいました。でも英会話は英語じゃないの
で、ぜんぜん読めませんでした。 この小学生は、2年間ぐらい英会話の生徒でし
た。 ざんねん。
でも、ヒース先生と、上手になりました！ あと6ヶ月ぐらい、一人で本を読みました！
誇り高い ! ^_^
This girl had other English teachers for 2 years, but coudn't read anything. I'm sorry, but Eikaiwa is not real English. -_- But, with Heath-sensei, she learned to read. After about six months, she could read a book by herself. I was so proud!
僕は本当にこの仕事が大好き。 子供達は、いつか私たちのリーダーになりますの
で、教育がとても大切ですね。
I love this work. Children will someday become our leaders, so their education is very important.
みんな、がんばって。 僕もがんばります。

レベル」まで行ました。 みんな、よくがんばった！！ あなたたちを誇りにしま

本当の英語
