母と日本4: うどん
家内は、うどん屋さんです ので、もちろん, 母と, その 店に行きました。
My wife works at an udon shop, so of course we went there.
2 years ago, in America, my family had udon. It was their first time, and it was Sanuki udon. But this time, it was FRESH Sanuki udon!
2年前、アメリカで、家族はうどんを食べた。そのとき初めて。さぬきうどんでし
た。 でも今回は、新鮮なさぬきうどんだ！
At first...
まま: 「イヤダ！」
僕ら: 「いえいえ、食べて。おいしい。」
そのあと...
まま: 「お...おいしい！」
僕ら: 「やっぱり。」

Starting tomorrow, a new blog will launch here. It's called the "Canadian udon shop worker" (wow that sounds way more catchy in Japanese). Janelle-sensei has been an English teacher for 3 years. Now, she is still an English teacher, but she also became an "udonyasan!"
